Back to Ireland!
It was July 2021, the pandemic was winding down and countries were starting to open their borders. And we were getting restless. Having postponed this trip once already, we decided to get back on the trail as soon as possible.We were some of the first Americans back on the trail in several years, and we got to see Ireland slowly relaxing its isolation.
This trail ended up being a greater challenge that we anticipated. As you will hear in the episodes and stories below, mother nature was not cooperating.
